Pesquisa SUSThe I PesquisaSUS – Scientific meeting of applied research to public policies in health of the Fiocruz School of Government – ended last Wednesday, November 25th. Of the 102 entries, nine were awarded. Students of the discipline of Professional master’s in public policy in health from Fiocruz Brasilia, taught by the Center for Bioethics and Diplomacy Studies in Health (Nethis), won in the category of Bioethics and Health Diplomacy. Here is the list of the winning entries.

The work at the axis Bioethics and Diplomacy in Health “Health and Freedom from the perspective of public policies for combating chronic diseases in Brazil”, by the master students Cammila Horta, Ludmila Soares, Aline Lima, Thais Alessa and Marina Ferreira, was the result of the “Health , Development, Justice and International Cooperation” discipline, taught by José Paranaguá de Santana, Coordinator of Nethis/Fiocruz Brasília.

The meeting awarded the nine best entries corresponding to each thematic area (health promotion and intersectoral approach, health planning and management, health technology assessment, democracy and health law, networks and technological prospection, policies informed by evidence, epidemiology and health surveillance, bioethics and diplomacy in health and education, training and work in health).

Fiocruz Brasilia held the I PesquisaSUS between November 23rd to 25th in order to encourage the strengthening of relations between research and public policies and to promote the exchange of knowledge between researchers, managers, workers and students of the health areas.
