Nethis takes part in the V Congress of Medical Humanities

Between December 2nd and 4th, the Federal Council of Medicine organized the V Congress of Medical Humanities, in Goiânia, Goiás. With the main theme “Humanities in Medical School”, the event approached the “Hidden Curriculum and medical education”, “The epistemological components in the construction of humanities in medicine”, “Humanities in Medical School: experiences and results”, “Designing evaluation tools” and “The humanities in the formation of the doctor”. “Lessons of the history to the present application”, in addition to concurrent workshops.

The Coordinator of the Center for Bioethics and Diplomacy Studies in Health (Nethis/Fiocruz), José Paranaguá de Santana, participated as coordinator of the workshop “Literature: the strength of fiction in the classics and in the contemporaries”, on Thursday (3rd). Nethis took also a booth with publicity materials, books and publications offered by Editora Fiocruz.
