Fiocruz Brasilia launches call for proposals for Professional Master’s in Public Policy in Health

The Fiocruz School of Government at Fiocruz Brasília receives registration until April 15th  for the Professional Master’s in Public Policy in Health, which has as its central theme “Integration of Public Policies in Health”. Open to any graduate professional with an interest in the subject, the course is free and has two lines of research: Health and Social Justice  and Surveillance and Management in Health. 20 vacancies are being offered .

The Professional Master’s in Public Policy in Health aims to train professionals of health and related fields, able to respond to the needs of the production of knowledge, of management and of attention in the field of public health, in line with the guidelines of the SUS. The course intends to also make these professionals able to promote the necessary coordination between the production and application of knowledge in the area of health, in addition to intersectoral dialogue to seek the solution of problems in the health system.

All information relating to the registration may be obtained on the website of the Master´s course (http://ppgpps.fiocruz.br ), as well as on the platform SIGA (www.sigass.fiocruz.br), where the notice of course is available. The interested candidates in the course must complete the electronic form of registration, available on the platform, which later must be printed, signed and forwarded, via post office (only via SEDEX – courier) or in person deliver in sealed envelope at the Secretariat of the Master´s course of the Fiocruz School of Government, located at Fiocruz campus of UnB.

On the registration form, the candidate should make the choice of his/her line of research, from one of the two available.

The selection process consists of three stages. In the first (eliminatory), the candidate will make a test, which will be comprised of specific content related to the Professional Master’s Program in Public Policy in Health. The second stage (qualifying) will consist of an interview, during which the candidate will present his letter of intent, orally, and will answer questions about his/her resumé. In the third stage (qualifying), the candidate will make an English exam. The dissemination of the final results is scheduled for June 29th and the registration will be held from July 1st to 10th. The lessons of the course will begin on August 3rd.
