Fiocruz Brasilia debates on food and nutritional security

The Center for Bioethics and Diplomacy Studies in Health (Nethis/Fiocruz) invites to the lecture “The complexity of obesity: a look at systems”, presented by Felix Rígoli, Coordinator of the Technical Unit of Human Capacities of Health (Paho/WHO). Tomorrow, October 30th, from 9am, in the Internal Auditorium of Fiocruz Brasilia.

The session of the 5th Cycle of Debates is part of the “International seminar on diplomacy and bioethics in food security and nutritional Health in Portuguese-speaking countries”, held in partnership with the Brazilian Observatory of Eating Habits (OBHA)of the program of food, nutrition and culture (Palin/Fiocruz).

The event brings together international speakers, researchers and professionals from the Brazilian Government. Activities are open to the public and registration is made on site. Besides the lecture, there will be the launch of a documentary about the food choices of families who receive Bolsa Família (Family allowance program).
