Bireme and the VHL Bioethics and Diplomacy map work plan for 2017

Last Friday, December 2nd, the team of the Center for Bioethics and Diplomacy Studies in Health (Nethis/Fiocruz Brasília), the VHS Bioethics and Health Diplomacy Secretariat, was at the headquarters of Bireme to know the institution and to discuss the activities for next year. “Our goal is to certificate the VHL Bioethics and Diplomacy in 2017. For that, we got a lot of work”, says Larissa Cedro, Librarian of Nethis responsible for the VHL. Agenda available here.

“For Bireme it is very important that the VHL is a priority for the team responsible for its activities. We will do what we can to strengthen the VHL Bioethics and Health Diplomacy”, said Juliana Lourenço Sousa, Librarian of the production area of Bireme Sources of Information. Attended the meeting Cecilia Lopes and Janaina Sallas from Nethis, and Sarah Oliveira and Rosemeire Rocha Pinto , supervisor of cooperative information services of Bireme.

TRAINING – During the week, between November 28th and December 2nd, the librarian Larissa Cedro attended the course on LILACS methodology for learning to use the new tool FI-Admin and to optimize the indexing of technical and scientific papers in the area of health. The course, taught by Sueli Suga and Sarah Oliveira, librarians of Bireme, had the participation of professionals from the VHL of the Municipal Health Secretariat of São Paulo.
