The Research Network on Peace, Conflict and Safety-Critical Studies (PCECS) invites to the First Brazilian Meeting of Peace Studies (EBEP), which will be held at the International Relations Institute (IRI) of the University of São Paulo, on September 22nd and 23rd 2016.
EBEP was conceived in the form of a workshop, with two working days. The first, opened to the public, will have two thematic tables where ongoing surveys of members of the network will be discussed and it will feature an opening lecture by Professor Stefano Guzzini (Danish Institute for International Studies, Puc-Rio, Uppsala University), with the theme “Peace Research as Security Studies — Security Studies as Peace Research”.
