The Center of International Relations in Health (Cris) is an organ of the Presidency of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), created in 2009, to support the institution and its units in the field of health diplomacy and science and technology in health. In 2014,Cris was designated WHO´s Collaborating Center for Global Health and South-South Cooperation.

The Program of International Cooperation in health – TC 41 – of the representation of Paho/WHO in Brazil – aims to promote the development of knowledge and the exchange of experience and technologies to address the health problems that represent priorities or common interests between Brazil and other countries members of the Paho/WHO, with priority for South America and Portuguese-speaking Africa, pointing to the solidarity-based development in accordance with the Millennium Development Goals.

The Unesco Chair of Bioethics and the Graduate Program in Bioethics from UnB is involved in teaching and research activities in bioethics with a focus on the problems and public health practices, interpreting conflicts and proposing alternatives in the biomedical, political and sociocultural dimensions.
